William Bryant III Named Vice President, Perioperative Services

William Bryant III, DNP, MBA, RN, NE-BC, CNOR, has been appointed vice president of Perioperative Services. In this role, he will provide overall organizational leadership for clinical operations, performance improvement and financial performance for perioperative services for the Wilmington and Newark campuses.

Bryant most recently served as senior director of Perioperative Services at Montefiore Medical Center where he was responsible for all phases of perioperative care in addition to sterile processing and perioperative quality and patient safety, supporting approximately 800 employees.

Previously, he served as administrative director of Perioperative Services at Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital and has held a number of positions within the Cleveland Clinic, with increasing responsibility, ultimately serving as senior director of Surgical Nursing at the Cleveland Clinic main campus.

Bryant holds a doctorate in Nursing Practice from Chamberlain College of Nursing, a master’s degree in Business Administration from Baldwin Wallace University and a bachelor’s degree in Nursing from Case Western Reserve University. He is board certified in nursing administration and perioperative nursing practice.

Bryant reports to Ric Cuming, Ed.D., MSN, RN, NEA-BC, FAAN, chief nurse executive and president, ChristianaCare HomeHealth.
