Emily Riddick Named 3B Nurse Manager

Emily Riddick, MSN, RN-BC, CPXP, has been appointed 3B nurse manager. In this role, she will be responsible for the daily operations of the 3B Medical Unit, where she will support the team to provide exceptional patient care and to achieve organizational goals.

In her previous role, Riddick was a Patient Experience program manager from 2019 to 2022 for the Newark campus, where she collaborated with all levels of caregivers to provide patient experience education, recommendations and best practices to units. She joined ChristianaCare in 2011 as a registered nurse on the 6C STAR unit.

Riddick received her master’s degree in nursing management and leadership from Western Governors University in 2020 and her bachelor’s degree in nursing from Wilmington University in 2016. She is a 2019 Nursing Excellence Award winner and a member of American Nurses Association and Delaware Nurses Association.

She reports to Michael Knorr, MSN, RN, PCCN, vice president of Patient Care Services, Acute Care.
