Jeff Miller appointed director of Design and Construction

Jeff Miller has been appointed director of ChristianaCare Design and Construction.

In this role, Miller provides leadership, project oversight and technical expertise for new construction and renovation projects.

Under his direction, the Design and Construction team leads design development, architect selection, construction budgeting, bidding document development and contractor selection processes for new construction and renovations projects.

Together with the vice president, Design and Construction he will develop multiyear strategic facility development plans and departmental objectives.

Miller joined ChristianaCare in 1991 and has served on the Design and Construction team as project manager for 28 years. Before joining ChristianaCare he worked for DuPont as an architectural project manager.

His many accomplishments include the successful completion of projects including the Helen F. Graham Cancer Center & Research Institute West Pavilion; patient kitchen renovation at Christiana Hospital;  laundry expansion; major imaging equipment projects (including MRIs and CTs); the 2A ICU renovation at Christiana Hospital; and the Health Care Center at Christiana building expansion.

Miller reports to Patrick Fugeman, AIA, vice president of Design Services.
