David Lainoff, M.D., has been appointed clinical director, Care Standardization and CMS Contracts.
In this role, he will lead efforts in population health for Medicare beneficiaries in ACO, Medicare Advantage and other unique payment models, working to identify high-risk patients and implement strategies to improve care and decrease costs.
He will work to coordinate efforts for CMS contracts across the care continuum, in particular linking primary care, acute care and post-acute care. In addition, he developed chronic disease management, care standardization and clinical decision support tools for the electronic medical record, as well as an internal clinician dashboard to monitor clinical performance and identify gaps in care.
Dr. Lainoff worked to maximize performance in value-based contracts as well as risk-based contracts for Crozer’s network and IPA.
He earned his medical degree and completed residency in internal medicine at The University of Rochester School of Medicine.
In addition to his administrative responsibilities, Dr. Lainoff will be practicing internal medicine in a Medical Group practice.
