Megan Smakulski appointed nurse manager, 6S, WICU and Stepdown

Megan Smakulski, MSN, MBA, RN, PCCN, has been named the new Nurse Manager for 6 South, WICU and Stepdown. Smakulski was promoted from her position as assistant nurse manager on the Transitional Medical Unit (TMU) at Christiana Hospital. She started at Christiana Care in 2012 on the TMU.

Smakulski earned an MBA in health care administration, and master’s degree in nursing leadership from Wilmington University. She received her BSN degree from Gwynedd Mercy College, Pennsylvania.
