Brenda Rabeno appointed administrative director of Acute Medicine Service Line

Brenda Rabeno, MBA, MLS (ASCP)CM, has been named the administrative director of the Acute Medicine Service Line.

Rabeno has been serving Christiana Care as the transfusion safety officer, leading efforts to implement the patient blood management program in partnership with key departments and service lines.

In her role with the Acute Medicine Service Line, she will be a key member of the leadership team with primary responsibility over project management and data systems, as well as the development and implementation of strategies to positively impact flow, clinical outcomes and patient experience.

Rabeno has an MBA in health care administration from Wilmington University, a bachelor’s degree in medical technology from the University of Delaware and is pursuing a master’s degree in health care administration at Drexel University.
