Junior Board’s 2010 Medicine Ball supports nursing scholarships

At the check-presentation ceremony are Sean Ellsworth, director of employment, Mike Price, R.N., Perioperative Nursing Internship Program and nursing scholarship recipient, Junior Board members Barbara Burd, Ann Kappel, Helen Ferris, Nancy Klein and Judith Kirlan, and Wendy Gable, Human Resources, manager, recruiting services and Audrey Van Luven, senior vice president, Human Resources.

Junior Board members of the 2010 Medicine Ball Fundraising Committee presented Human Resources team members with a gift of $77,996.54 as proceeds from the event to benefit nursing scholarships. Christiana Care is grateful to the Junior Board for their more than $1 million support of nursing scholarships through the Medicine Ball and other funding.
