Nationally recognized leader brings expertise in marketing, brand strategy, consumer experience and enterprise transformation
ChristianaCare has appointed C. David Minifie as senior vice president and chief marketing officer, bringing to the organization a nationally recognized leader with deep expertise in marketing, brand strategy, consumer experience and enterprise transformation.
In this role, Minifie will lead ChristianaCare’s systemwide marketing and communications strategy, including consumer insights, brand stewardship, digital engagement and storytelling — advancing the organization’s mission to deliver health, not just health care.
Minifie joins ChristianaCare with more than 20 years of executive leadership experience across health care and consumer‑focused organizations. He previously served in multiple roles at Centene Corporation, including chief marketing officer and chief experience officer, where he helped scale the organization’s marketing and experience capabilities, led culture integration for major acquisitions and strengthened consumer and provider engagement across a rapidly growing national enterprise.
Earlier in his career, Minifie held leadership roles at Procter & Gamble, where he led brand management and growth strategies across multiple consumer businesses. He has also advised organizations on purpose, positioning and go‑to‑market strategy, helping leadership teams align culture, brand and performance.
“Dave brings a rare combination of strategic insight, consumer focus and values‑driven leadership,” said Jenn Schwartz, executive vice president and chief strategy officer of ChristianaCare.
“His experience building trusted brands and connecting mission to meaningful action will be invaluable as we continue to serve our communities and shape the future of health care.”
Minifie holds a bachelor’s degree from the United States Naval Academy and served as a United States Marine Corps officer. He remains actively engaged in advisory and governance roles focused on health, education and community impact.
