“Meagan saved my life by being proactive and attentive to my well-being,” the nominator wrote.
During a physical exam that seemed to be going well — the patient’s bloodwork was good, and the patient reported feeling great — Prime noticed a lump on the patient’s side.
“She asked about it, and I had no idea it was there. She scheduled a CT scan and that started the journey,” the nominator wrote.
The patient’s medical studies showed cancer. Prime’s attention to detail allowed for her patient to feel prepared for the journey ahead.
“If Meagan had not noticed the lump, I would still be going on with my life not knowing I have cancer,” the nominator said.
