Jenn Schwartz Named Executive Vice President
She continue to advance ChristianaCare's commitment to growth, innovation and expanding access to high-quality care

ChristianaCare today announced that, with the support of its Health System Board of Directors, Jenn Schwartz has been promoted to executive vice president, effective immediately. Schwartz will also continue to serve as chief strategy officer, and Sarah Goncher, Esq., will assume the role of chief legal officer and corporate secretary.
In Schwartz’s expanded role, she will continue to report directly to Janice Nevin, M.D., MPH, president and chief executive officer, with an enhanced portfolio that reflects both the breadth of her leadership and ChristianaCare’s continued commitment to growth, innovation and expanding access to high-quality care across the region.
“Jenn is an extraordinary leader, a trusted advisor, and a true thought partner,” Nevin said. “For nearly eight years, she has helped guide ChristianaCare through a period of significant growth and complexity with clarity, integrity and deep strategic insight. This enhanced role recognizes not only her impact to date, but the critical role she will continue to play as we look to the future.”
Since joining ChristianaCare in 2018, Schwartz has served as chief strategy and legal officer, helping guide the system’s long-term direction through a rapidly evolving health care landscape. Most recently, she led ChristianaCare’s comprehensive strategy refocus, aligning priorities and resources to strengthen the organization’s foundation and sharpen its impact.
Widely respected for integrating strategy, operations and regulatory insight, Schwartz has built strong partnerships with physicians, caregivers and clinical leaders across the system. Her leadership has been instrumental in expanding ChristianaCare’s reach, strengthening ambulatory and population health programs and advancing innovative models of care.
Before joining ChristianaCare, Schwartz served as vice president of Legal Affairs and general counsel for Lourdes Health System and as chief executive director of its Health Network Accountable Care Organization, where she built one of New Jersey’s largest ACOs. Earlier in her career, she was a partner at Fox Rothschild LLP and Gluck Walrath LLP, advising hospitals and health care providers on health care reform, physician alignment, reimbursement, regulatory compliance and strategic affiliations.
“Jenn’s promotion is both well-deserved and strategically important as ChristianaCare continues to grow, broaden our reach and reimagine how health care is delivered,” said Nevin.
