'She truly cares about us, and our tiny patients and their families.'

Ryan was nominated for her continued commitment to supporting her NICU staff — both emotionally and by ensuring they have the resources they need. She consistently fosters morale and creates a psychologically safe environment for her team.

“Bridget checks in with her staff to make sure they are doing okay professionally and personally,” her team member wrote. “She truly cares about us, and our tiny patients and their families.”

With a moment’s notice, Ryan is there to address concerns and build-up her team. She encourages caregivers to share their thoughts and ideas because she values their opinions. Ryan’s leadership motivates her colleagues to deliver the highest level of quality care.

“She is always visible on the unit, keeps her office door open, makes rounds on the unit to check in with staff, has open times virtually on Teams and joins our morning huddles when she can!” her nominator wrote. “Bridget is also willing to help however she can and jump in when needed.”

“Bridget truly gives 110% to her staff and job every day. She always serves with love and excellence.”
