Cynthia Davis Celebrated With DAISY Award for Extraordinary Nurses
Davis goes above and beyond to coordinate care for her patients.
Cynthia Davis, BSN, RN, a nurse for ChristianaCare HomeHealth, has received the DAISY Award for Extraordinary Nurses.
ChristianaCare DAISY Award recipients are nurses recognized for meeting and exceeding the needs and expectations of patients and families by displaying exceptional clinical skills, compassion, calm, respect and partnership.

Davis was nominated by a patient for her careful coordination and communication with the care team.
“Cynthia she went above and beyond, working with my physician and pharmacy, to get me a medication,” her nominator wrote. “She was also knowledgeable about the medicine and shared tips. I really appreciated her willingness to advocate for me.”
Davis continues to expand her education and professional development to better serve her patients. Since joining ChristianaCare HomeHealth in July 2024, she has earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Thomas Edison State University and is pursuing her a Master of Science in Nursing.
