“Nakisha was among the many staff members who went above and beyond during my husband’s very long stay,” her nominator wrote.
“She was a good friend when I needed information and someone to talk to. She was one of the kindest people I encountered when she was caring for my husband.
“She spoke to him with respect and compassion [and] took her time soothing him … even the most challenging tasks were done with remarkable care, kindness and ease.”
The nominator expressed deep gratitude for Jones’ attentiveness and support.
“I will never forget how important Nakisha made me feel,” her nominator wrote. “She is someone I will truly miss seeing. I hope the love she has given to others comes back to her, multiplied.”
