ChristianaCare Faculty and Residents Named to 2024 Sidney Kimmel Medical College Honor Roll

Congratulations to the 14 faculty members and 14 residents from ChristianaCare named to the 2024 Honor Roll at Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University for receiving superior evaluations as educators. This is the highest number of awardees ever for ChristianaCare.

“Congratulations to all our educators who were named to the honor roll,” said Tabassum Salam, M.D., MBA, chief learning officer at ChristianaCare. “As the largest teaching affiliate of Sidney Kimmel Medical College, we are proud of the work of our educators who are training the physicians of tomorrow.”

This June, ChristianaCare welcomed over 100 new residents and fellows to the health system. In addition, during the last academic year 20 residents received financial assistance through the Woody Rice Resident Endowment Fund, which has helped over 200 residents in 24 medical disciplines since 2018.

ChristianaCare is designated as a clinical affiliate for both Sidney Kimmel Medical College and Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. Medical students are provided the opportunity to complete their 3rd and 4th year clinical rotations exclusively at ChristianaCare through the Delaware Branch Campus Program.
