Delaware Subaru Goes Into High Gear for ChristianaCare’s NICU

Thank you to Delaware Subaru for their generous donation of over $9,000 from their annual Subaru “Share the Love” campaign. The gift will support patient care in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) in the Center for Women’s and Children’s Health at Christiana Hospital. Delaware Subaru donated $250 from the sale of each new Subaru sold and $50 for every vehicle serviced between November 2023 and January 2024.

Delaware Subaru has partnered with ChristianaCare as their Subaru Share the Love Hometown Charity since 2015.

More than 6,700 babies were born at ChristianaCare in 2023.

Christiana Hospital is the only high-risk delivering hospital in Delaware offering Level III neonatal intensive care. The NICU provides 24/7 onsite board certified neonatologists and is fully equipped with the technology and personnel to provide the highest standards of acute care.

Christiana Hospital is one of the only hospitals in the U.S. to provide couplet care in the NICU, keeping mother and baby together even if they both require medical care. It is the region’s only National Community Center of Excellence in Women’s Health.
