Greene was nominated by a colleague who recognized her for the kindness she displayed in her interactions with her father during appointments.

“My dad sees a lot of specialty physicians and we meet many medical assistants, but Denise, the medical assistant at his oncologist’s office, is memorable,” said her nominator. “She approached a teachable moment with my dad with humor and kindness. She also noticed a few discrepancies on his medication list and corrected them immediately.”

Her nominator called Denise “an asset to the organization.”
