Angel Tejeda Named Senior Vice President, Facilities and Support Services
Tejeda leads all aspects of ChristianaCare's non-clinical, essential services
Angel Tejeda, MBA, CHFM, has been appointed senior vice president of Facilities and Support Services for ChristianaCare. In this role, he will lead all aspects of ChristianaCare’s non- clinical essential services, providing strategic oversight of large-scale, multi-functional, capital project initiatives in collaboration with campus and service line leadership and organization and community stakeholders.
Tejeda most recently served as associate vice president at Nuvance Health Network, where he was responsible for all operational, human capital and budgetary aspects of engineering, plant operations, safety, security, food and nutrition, transportation, laundry/linen and environmental services departments.
He previously served as director of support services at New York Presbyterian Hospital and director of environmental services at Hackensack University Medical Center in New Jersey. Prior to joining the health care industry, Tejeda spent 15 years in upscale and luxury hotel management, 10 years of which were in executive committee leadership roles.
Tejeda has an MBA in organizational leadership from Ashford University and a bachelor’s degree in hospitality management from Norfolk State University.
