Jenny Holle Honored With ROSE Award

Patient care technician Jenny Holle, of the Wilmington campus, has received the ChristianaCare ROSE Award. ROSE stands for Raising Our Standard of Excellence, recognizing outstanding partners in nursing who help deliver compassionate, excellent care to patients and families.

Holle, who works on unit 3 North at Wilmington Hospital, was nominated by a patient’s son for her compassionate care. “Jenny was so attentive and professional, which was very comforting to my mother,” he wrote.

Holle has worked at ChristianaCare for 10 years. In her role, she manages patients’ personal needs and hygiene care, assists them in and out of bed for tests and treatments. She rounds among patients to check on their safety and comfort.

“Jenny is very responsive to patient needs,” said Nurse Manger Bonnie Osgood, MSN, RN-BC, NE-BC. “She anticipates what they may need and gets it quickly for them. She always has a smile and has a caring and supportive approach with patients and their loved ones.”

Holle also helps the nursing staff with clerical and administrative support, ordering and stocking supplies, chart maintenance, and welcoming and assisting with new admissions to the unit.
