Tenisha Cameron Appointed Director of Practice Operations, Pediatrics

Tenisha Cameron, MBA, MSM, has been named director of practice operations for Pediatrics. In her new role, Cameron will partner with the clinical leaders of both the inpatient and ambulatory areas to advance operations of our Pediatric services.

Cameron has been with ChristianaCare since 2002. She has served in various roles over the years, including Community Health Liaison for CareLink, program coordinator and, most recently, manager of practice operations for Pediatric Associates and Dover Pediatrics. She was essential in integrating both the Pediatric Associates practice in 2019 and the Dover Pediatrics practice in 2022.

Cameron earned a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Healthcare Management and a Master of Science in Management from Wilmington University. She became a certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt in 2020. She is the co-lead of ChristianaCare’s Employee Resource Group, Growing our African American Leaders Systemwide (GOALS), and is the current vice president of public relations for ChristianaCare’s Toastmaster’s Club.

Cameron reports to Meredith Kydd-Hindelang, MHA, corporate director, Women’s and Children’s service line.
