A Mobile Health Van, a Block Party and Friends in Sussex County
ChristianaCare offers screenings and health education in downstate Delaware
Get expert health care, you can! Representatives from a galaxy far, far away recently joined ChristianaCare caregivers at Laurel Public Library’s block party in Sussex County, Delaware.
Our Mobile Health Services van doubled as the Millennium Falcon where our caregivers offered blood pressure screenings, pediatric vision and hearing screenings, and screenings for the social determinants of health that can prevent our neighbors from getting care they may need.
In a new way to bring care to where people need it throughout Delaware, ChristianaCare rolled out two Mobile Health Services vans in May.
The vans are a key part of furthering ChristianaCare’s mission to make a positive impact on health in our communities by meeting our neighbors where they are.
