Kristen C. Foulk Named Vice President of Patient Care Services, Neurosciences and Surgical Services
Kristen C. Foulk, MSN, MS, RN, PCCN-K, NE-BC, has been appointed vice president of Patient Care Services, Neurosciences, Surgical Services, Trauma Program, Hemodialysis and Vascular Access/Infusion Services at the Newark campus. In this role, she will provide overall organizational leadership for clinical operations, performance improvement and financial performance.
Foulk has been a long-standing member of our ChristianaCare team, serving in several nurse leader positions, each with increasing scope of responsibility, for more than 14 years. Most recently, she served as the interim vice president for the department. She is a resourceful leader, with a history of successful coordination, execution and monitoring of clinical operations across various departments. Foulk’s accomplishments in quality improvement for the care continuum have been highlighted through numerous national nursing conference presentations and professional journal publications.
She holds dual graduate degrees: a master’s degree in nursing administration and a master’s degree in management with a health care administration focus from Wilmington University. She earned a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Wilmington University. She is board certified as a nurse executive and also in progressive care nursing practice.
Foulk reports to Catherine Shull Fernald, DNP, RN, RNC-OB, NEA-BC, chief nursing officer for Acute Care.
