Meredith Kydd-Hindelang Appointed Corporate Director for Women’s and Children’s Services
Meredith Kydd-Hindelang, MHA, FHM, has been named corporate director for Women’s and Children’s Services. In her new role, Kydd-Hindelang will partner with Dr. Matthew Hoffman, chair of the OB/GYN Department, and Dr. David Paul, chair of the Department of Pediatrics, to advance operations of our Women’s and Children’s Services. She will lead operations related to contract management, clinician engagement, quality and safety assurance, fiscal stability, and strategy development and execution.
Kydd-Hindelang has been with ChristianaCare since 2012. Over the last nine years, she served as the operational leader for our ChristianaCare Hospitalist Partners. During her time, Meredith operationalized hospital medicine moving to a closed staffing model, increasing the number of employed clinicians from 15 in 2012 to 131 physicians, 28 APCs, and over 50 moonlighters in 2021. She has developed a culture of clinician engagement, hardwired quality metrics that drive value and optimized organizational vitality through work on clinical coding and revenue capture.
Kydd-Hindelang earned a Master of Health Administration from Hofstra University and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Delaware. She became a certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt in 2014. She reports to Francis Gott, MBA, RRT, vice president of Longitudinal Care.
