Dia Williams Adams Joins ChristianaCare as Vice President of Development
Dia Williams Adams has joined ChristianaCare as vice president of development. In this role, Williams Adams will lead the development team and secure philanthropic support for the mission of ChristianaCare. Her responsibilities also include fostering a culture of philanthropy and stewardship, both internally and externally. She has extensive development expertise, with almost two decades of experience in health care and philanthropy.
Prior to joining ChristianaCare, Williams Adams served as the executive director of College Possible Philadelphia. Before that, she served as the director of philanthropy operations at Virtua Health Foundation for nearly seven years, and held leadership roles with Delaware State University and the Crozer-Chester Foundation (Crozer-Keystone Health System). She serves on the board of The Community’s Foundation in Delaware County, Pa., and was the founding board chair of Sunday Suppers Philadelphia.
Williams Adams earned a master’s degree in public administration from Villanova University with a certification in nonprofit management and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Neumann University.
She reports to Drew Fennell, chief communications and experience officer.
