Jeremy Hess appointed director of Intravenous Admixture Services
Jeremy Hess, PharmD, has been appointed director of Intravenous Admixture Services.
In this role, he will provide strategic vision and management of the intravenous labs at Christiana and Wilmington hospitals, the Helen F. Graham Cancer Center & Research Institute, and the operating room pharmacies at Christiana and Wilmington hospitals. He will have direct responsibility over Pharmacy Services provided to the inpatient unit 6E at Christiana Hospital.
He will work to ensure that ChristianaCare maintains compliance with Joint Commission standards and United States Pharmacopeia regulations.
Hess has over 10 years of progressive experience managing intravenous admixture labs, particularly in the field of oncology. He joined ChristianaCare in 2015 as supervisor of Intravenous Admixture Services and previously held leadership positions at Ephrata Community Hospital and Lancaster General Health.
He graduated with a PharmD in May 2002 from Campbell University in Buies Creek, North Carolina.
He reports to Sam Wetherill, PharmD, MHA, MPS-SCM, vice president, Pharmacy Services.
