Classic car club, with the drive to help, supports our caregivers

Classic car enthusiasts showed their appreciation for ChristianaCare caregivers by taking a lap around Christiana Hospital and touring other ChristianaCare sites May 30.
More than 100 cars joined the parade, with each vehicle dropping a cash donation into a bucket as the passed by. Nearly $2,000 flowed into the collection as every vehicle made a contribution to ChristianaCare.

The parade was organized by the group Car Shows for Non-Profits and participating cars were led by a police escort.
The four-wheeling parade left Delaware Park and proceeded to Christiana Hospital, then on to Glasgow Medical Center and ChristianaCare Middletown.
