Jennifer Painter appointed vice president of Nursing Professional Development and associate chief learning officer
Jennifer Painter, DNP, APRN, CNS, NEA-BC, RN-BC, OCCN, AOCNS, LSSBB, has been appointed vice president of Nursing Professional Development and associate chief learning officer.
In this role she will oversee the strategic direction for Nursing Professional Development and education programs across ChristianaCare, as well as assist the chief learning officer in leadership with direction and activities in the Institute for Learning Leadership and Development (iLEAD).
Painter completed a doctorate in Nursing at Wilmington University in 2018. She received bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Nursing with distinction from the University of Delaware.
She joined ChristianaCare in 2002 as a registered nurse on the Hematology/Oncology Unit. For the next 13 years, she continued to grow within the institution, holding numerous prominent roles. In 2016, she was promoted to director of Nursing Development and Education in iLEAD.
Painter completed the Juran Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification course in 2018 and The Health Management Academy’s GE Nurse Fellows Program for Nurse Executives in 2019, continuing her dedication and commitment to education.
She reports to Chief People Officer Neil Jasani, M.D., MBA, FACEP.
