Varadarajan Subbiah appointed vice president, Utilization Management and Quality
Varadarajan Subbiah, M.D., MBA, FACP, CHCQM, has been appointed vice president, Utilization Management and Quality.
Dr. Subbiah will engage medical staff and various physician leaders on resource utilization to support high quality, efficient and effective care delivery. He also will serve as the physician lead for data analysis and strategy development to ensure optimal performance in the areas of regulatory compliance and external reporting.
Dr. Subbiah completed his medical degree at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School. He completed an internal medicine residency at Temple University Hospital. He also holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.
He is a diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine and a fellow of the American College of Physicians. He is board certified in internal medicine and also holds a certification in health care quality and management.
Dr. Subbiah reports to ChristianaCare Chief Medical Officer Kert F. Anzilotti, M.D., MBA.
