Jennifer Passarella appointed director of Operations, Family and Community Medicine
Jennifer Passarella, MBA, BS, has been appointed director of Operations, Family and Community Medicine.
In this role, Passarella will be responsible for the programs and practices in the Department of Family and Community Medicine.
She will oversee the operations and management of Christiana Care’s 19 school-based health centers and other wellness programs for school-aged children; Swank Center for Memory Care and Geriatric Consultation; the William J. Holloway, M.D., Community Program; the Home Visit Program/Independence at Home; and the Family Medicine Residency Program.
Passarella joined Christiana Care in 2009 in the Department of Family and Community Medicine and has served in several roles including research assistant; program manager of the Community Engagement and Outreach Core and Evaluation Core of the Delaware Clinical and Translational Research (DE-CTR) ACCEL Program; and program manager of the Delaware Health Sciences Alliance.
She has successfully served as a leader within the department as well as a primary liaison collaborating with academic, state and federal institutions, physicians and leaders across the health system.
She received her Masters of Business Administration from the University of Delaware, and Bachelor of Science in Biology from Rutgers University.
Passarella reports to Amanda McMullen, Ph.D., RN, CPHQ, vice president of Primary Care Operations & Ambulatory Quality and Safety.
