Benita Robinson appointed nurse manager of 5C medical unit at Christiana Hospital
Benita Robinson, MSN, MBA, RN-BC, has been appointed nurse manager of the 5C Medical Unit at Christiana Hospital.
In this role Robinson has 24-hour accountability and responsibility for the medical unit’s excellence in the clinical practice of nursing and the delivery of patient care.
Robinson joined Christiana Care in 2006 as a student nurse extern and has held a high level of responsibility as an assistant nurse manager of 5C since 2015. She has played a key role in many unit initiatives and has received multiple recognitions from peers and patients.
She received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Neumann University and holds master’s degrees in Nursing Leadership and Business Administration from Wilmington University.
She reports to Michael Knorr, MSN, RN, PCCN, vice president, Patient Care Services, Acute Medicine.
