Terri Corbo appointed vice president, Laboratory and Pharmacy Services
Terri Corbo, Pharm.D., MHCDS, FASHP, has been appointed vice president, Laboratory and Pharmacy Services.
In this role Corbo is accountable for ensuring that the operations of both departments satisfy the needs of patients and the health system while implementing effective growth strategies.
She joined Christiana Care in 1999 as a clinical pharmacy specialist before moving into the leadership role of director, Clinical Pharmacy Services. In 2011, she was appointed vice president, Pharmacy Services.
She holds bachelor and doctoral degrees from the Philadelphia College of Pharmacy and Science as well as a Master of Heath Care Delivery Science from Dartmouth College with concentrations in finance, leadership and quality improvement.
Thanks to her exceptional leadership, Corbo has contributed to or led a number of large scale projects, such as computerized provider order entry, bar-code medication administration, expansion of the clinical pharmacy program and enrollment in the 340B Federal Drug Discount Program.
She reports to Sharon Kurfuerst, Ed.D, OTR/L, FACHE, FAOTA, chief operating officer.
