Connie Przybylek appointed director of Clinical Operations for Perioperative Services at Wilmington Hospital campus

Connie Przybylek, MSN, RN, NEA-BC, has been appointed director of Clinical Operations for Perioperative Services at the Wilmington Hospital campus.

In this role Przybylek is accountable for the daily operations of the Wilmington Hospital operating rooms, Post-Anesthesia Care Unit, Prep and Holding, Phase II and the Roxana Cannon Arsht Surgicenter.

Przybylek has worked at Christiana Care for nearly 38 years, most recently as administrative director responsible for surgical physician assistants, anesthesia technicians and perioperative system support.

She began her career in Perioperative Services by working on the development of the Perioperative Evaluation and Preparation team and has been involved in the implementation of SurgiNet scheduling and documentation, renal transplant, endoscopy and anesthesia systems.

She received her Master of Nursing Administration from the University of Delaware and holds nursing informatics and advanced nursing executive certifications.

She reports to Judy Townsley, MSN, RN, CPAN, NEA-BC, FACHE, vice president of Perioperative Services.
