Christiana Care named among ‘100 Great Hospitals in America’
Becker’s Hospital Review has named Christiana Care to its list of “100 Great Hospitals in America” for the third consecutive year.
Hospitals that made the 2018 list are recognized nationally for excellence in clinical care and patient outcomes, as well as for staff and physician satisfaction.
“These institutions are industry leaders that have achieved advanced accreditation and certification in several specialties,” according to Becker’s. The hospitals are industry “innovators that have sparked trends in health care technology, hospital management and patient satisfaction.”
Becker’s bases its list on hospital rankings, awards and nominations. Christiana Care earned top awards this past year from Healthgrades, U.S. News & World Report, CareChex, the U.S. Centers for Medicare & Medicaid and the Joint Commission/National Quality Forum.
