Warren Butt, M.D. — Gastroenterologist

Warren Butt, M.D. holds a B.A. in Chemistry from Oberlin College. He received his medical degree from Case Western Reserve. He served both his Internal Medicine residency and his Gastroenterology fellowship at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia, PA. Dr. Butt also has a masters degree in Clinical Pharmacology from Temple University.

Dr. Butt serves as a gastroenterologist on the Christiana Care Medical Dental Staff. Dr. Butt’s major interests include: early detection of gastrointestinal and pancreatic malignancy; pancreatic and biliary tract disease, inflammatory bowel disease and evaluation of abdominal pain. He has spearheaded the development of endoscopic ultrasound in Delaware.

Dr. Butt’s procedural expertise is: linear and radial endoscopic ultrasound with fine needle aspiration; endoscopic mucosal resection; esophagogastroduodenoscopy, colonoscopy, percutaneous endoscopic gastrostom.
