Denise Lottero appointed nurse manager, 4C
Denise Lottero, MSN, MSM, RN, NE-BC, CNOR, has been appointed nurse manager of patient care unit 4C, Surgery.
In this role, Lottero will lead the 4C team with 24-hour accountability and responsibility for daily operations and meeting organizational goals, guiding the team to excellence in the clinical practice of nursing and the delivery of patient care.
She held previous leadership roles as assistant nurse manager for Wilmington Hospital Prep & Holding and Phase I and II PACU from 2018 until her 4C appointment. Before that she was the assistant nurse manager of Christiana Hospital Operating Room and she held other progressive leadership roles in the organization as an RN III, RNII and patient care coordinator.
She received a Master of Science in Leadership and Master of Science in Management of Health Care Administration from Wilmington University. She is certified as a nurse executive and certified perioperative nurse.
She serves on the system-wide Nursing Research and Evidence-Based Practice Council and is actively involved on many committees.
She reports to Kimberly Talley, MSN, CRNP, RN, CNML-BC, FABC, LSSGB, vice president, Patient Care Services, Surgical.
