Distinction places Union among top 10% of all short-term acute care hospitals

ChristianaCare’s Union Hospital has been recognized by Healthgrades as a recipient of the 2025 Patient Safety Excellence Award™. This distinction means that Union Hospital, part of ChristianaCare’s Cecil County Campus in Maryland, is among the top 10% of all short-term acute care hospitals for patient safety as evaluated by Healthgrades.

Caregivers at Union Hospital’s Family Birth Center provide Cecil County families with trusted, high-quality, safe care.

Caregivers at Union Hospital’s Short Stay Unit have multiple Zero Harm recognitions for maintaining the highest standards of patient safety.
