Budnavage, of HomeHealth’s New Castle Team 8, was nominated by a patient who praised her “knowledge of patient needs with diabetic wounds and post-surgical care.”

Cammy Budnavage is part of HomeHealth’s New Castle Team 8.

Her outstanding care helped the patient increase protein in his diet and promote wound healing. This included suggesting a lower-sugar high-protein nutrition supplement and anticipating needs by calling with appointment time reminders and asking whether the patient needed supplies or orders. ‘

The patient valued that Budnavage was “very thorough and observant when changing dressings,” both following clinicians’ orders and making clinically appropriate suggestions.

The patient wrote that Budnavage’s “professional and caring” attention was exceptional and made a positive difference in their recovery.
