This crowd-pleasing appetizer can be ready for your next party in just minutes. Smoked salmon, cream cheese, horseradish, green onion and
lemon juice combine to create a creamy spread with bold flavor. Serve this make-ahead dish with a rainbow of fresh vegetables and whole-grain crackers.
Ingredients
12 servings (3 tablespoons each)
12 ounces smoked salmon
8 ounces light cream cheese, at room temperature
2 teaspoons prepared horseradish
2 green onions, finely chopped
1 teaspoon lemon juice
1 tablespoon chopped, fresh parsley
Directions
- Place the salmon in a medium bowl. Flake with a fork.
- Add the remaining ingredients except for the parsley and stir until the mixture is the consistency
of a spread. - Shape the mixture into a log or place in a serving dish and sprinkle with the chopped parsley.
- Serve with whole-grain crackers and fresh vegetables.
