Kelly Whitmarsh Appointed Corporate Director of Heart and Vascular Services

Kelly Whitmarsh, MS, MBA, has been appointed corporate director of ChristianaCare Heart and Vascular Services. In this role, Whitmarsh provides administrative leadership for the Heart Failure Program, CV Surgical Program, LVAD Program, Aortic Health Program, H&V Joint Commission Accreditation, Structural Heart Program, and the Tobacco Cessation Program.

Whitmarsh holds a master’s in Business Administration and a master’s degree in Organizational Development, Effectiveness and Change from the University of Delaware and a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Rutgers. She completed the Executive Program through the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE) in 2020 and was selected to present at the ACHE National Congress on Improvements in Care Standardization and Outcomes in the Heart Failure population. Whitmarsh also has training in Lean Six Sigma Green and Black Belt methodologies from the Juran Institute.

Whitmarsh reports to Billie Speakman, MBA, RRT, FABC, operations officer for the Newark Campus.
