Allison Steuber appointed nurse manager, Cardiovascular Critical Care Complex
Allison Steuber, MSN, CAPA, has been appointed nurse manager of the Cardiovascular Critical Care Complex (CVCCC) at Christiana Hospital.
In this role, she will be responsible for the daily operations of the CVCCC, where she will support the team to provide exceptional patient care and to achieve organizational goals.
Steuber joined ChristianaCare in 2006 as a student nurse extern. In 2007 she joined the Christiana Hospital Emergency Department staff as a registered nurse.
She was appointed assistant nurse manager of the Christiana Hospital Post-Anesthesia Care Unit and Surgical Admissions Unit in 2015. She helped lead the hospital-acquired pressure injury reduction strategy across Perioperative Services.
She received her Master of Science degree in Nursing Leadership from Wilmington University in 2011 and her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from the University of Delaware in 2007.
She is certified in ambulatory perianesthesia nursing and she is a member of the Delaware Organization for Nurse Leaders.
Steuber reports to Danielle Weber, MSN, MSM, RN-BC, NEA-BC, vice president, Patient Care Services.
