Terri Corbo appointed senior vice president, Clinical Essential Services
Terri Corbo, Pharm.D., MHCDS, FASHP, has been appointed senior vice president, Clinical Essential Services.
In this role, she will develop the operations and performance of clinical essential service departments, including imaging, laboratory, pharmacy. rehabilitation and respiratory care services.
Corbo joined ChristianaCare in 1999 as a clinical pharmacy specialist in cardiology before moving into the role of director, clinical pharmacy services.
In 2011, she was appointed vice president, Pharmacy Services. Her leadership responsibilities expanded to include laboratory services in 2019. At various times in her career, she has had the additional responsibilities of medication safety officer and operations lead for the Musculoskeletal Service Line.
Corbo received bachelor’s and doctoral degrees in Pharmacy from the University of the Sciences, as well as a Master of Heath Care Delivery Science with concentrations in finance, leadership and quality improvement from Dartmouth College.
She is a fellow of the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists. In 2011 she was recognized by Delaware Today as a Women in Business Honoree. In 2014, she was awarded the designation of Pharmacist of the Year by the Delaware Society of Health-System Pharmacists.
During her two decades with ChristianaCare she has contributed to or led a number of large-scale projects, such as computerized provider order entry, bar-code medication administration, smart pumps, expansion of the clinical pharmacy program and enrollment in the 340B Federal Drug Discount Program. She also led the development of a post-graduate pharmacy specialty residency program in critical care.
