Christiana Care named a Top Workplace in Delaware for 16th year

For the 16th consecutive year, Christiana Care is recognized as one of the top places to work in Delaware, according to a News Journal survey.

The News Journal uses Energage LLC to conduct its annual survey of Top Workplaces in Delaware.

“This accomplishment underscores the commitment of our Extraordinary People to serve together guided by our values of Excellence and Love,” said Christiana Care’s Chief People Officer Neil Jasani, M.D., MBA, FACEP.

Top Workplaces is based entirely on surveys completed by employees and recognizes organizations leading the way by engaging their employees.

Christiana Care also earned a special award as tops in the career training category, based on scores from employee responses to the statement “I get the formal training I want for my career.” Employees rate these statements on a seven-point Likert scale from “strongly disagree” to “strongly agree.”

“Our caregivers are proud to be part of our culture,” said Dr. Jasani, “and it shows in their commitment to deliver optimal health and an exceptional experience to everyone we serve.”

Christiana Care has consistently earned best-workplace honors. In June, Forbes magazine ranked Christiana Care as the # 1 Employer in Delaware in its inaugural list of “America’s Best Employers by State” and IDG’s Computerworld ranked Christiana Care among the nation’s “Best Places to Work in IT. Earlier this year, Christiana Care was ranked for the first time as a best employer in the Philadelphia region in the Philadelphia Inquirer’s 2019 Top Workplace survey
