Junior Board gift of $76,000 to benefit Parkinson’s disease and movement disorders

The Junior Board of Christiana Care has given a generous gift of $76,000 to benefit Christiana Care Health System’s outreach, research and education in Parkinson’s disease and other movement disorders. The gift represents proceeds from the Junior Board’s 2019 Medicine Ball.

The new funding will enable Christiana Care to support a dedicated coordinator who will help improve awareness and education on Parkinson’s disease and better coordinate care with physicians, nurse practitioners and other caregivers.
