Jamie Ayala, MSN, RN-BC, appointed nurse manager of Center for Rehabilitation at Wilmington Hospital
Jamie Ayala, MSN, RN-BC, has been appointed nurse manager of the Center for Rehabilitation at Wilmington Hospital.
In this role, she will support the daily operations and the strategic development of the unit in collaboration with the Rehabilitation Services leadership.
Ayala joined Christiana Care in 2005 as a student nurse extern while pursuing her nursing degree. Her past leadership roles at Christiana Care include patient care facilitator and nurse manager. She most recently served as an infection prevention nurse where she was successful in developing interdisciplinary relationships. She also has supported several performance improvement projects on her assigned units.
Ayala received a bachelor of arts in nursing from Wesley College and a master’s degree in nursing leadership with a focus in healthcare administration from Wilmington University where she is now pursuing her doctor of nursing practice.
She is board certified as a gerontological nurse through the American Nurses Credentialing Center.
She reports to Danielle Weber, MSN, MSM, RN-BC, NEA-BC, vice president, Patient Care Services.
