Kert Anzilotti appointed chief medical officer, acute care
Kert Anzilotti, M.D., MBA, has been named Christiana Care’s new chief medical officer, acute care.
Dr. Anzilotti has been the Neurosciences Service Line physician leader and chair of the Radiology Department, interim president and CEO of the eBrightHealth Accountable Care Organization (ACO) and chair of the board of eBrightHealth ACO.
In his new role as CMOAC, Dr. Anzilotti will focus on the optimization of care delivery at the acute care level through strategic visioning, network development, clinical technology implementation and leveraging medical informatics.
He will work closely with the acute care chief nursing officer to ensure a unified clinical strategy.
Dr. Anzilotti earned his medical degree from Sydney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University, followed by residency training and fellowship at Yale New Haven Hospital, Connecticut. He is board certified in neuroradiology and radiology. He received a Master of Business Administration from the University of Delaware Alfred Lerner College of Business & Economics in 2011.
