Quality & Safety team celebrates successes

Singing the hit song "Happy," Gru and his minions from "Despicable Me 2" were surprise guests at the annual meeting of the Quality and Safety team.

Capping a year of success that included a 12 percent reduction in preventable harm over last year, the Quality & Safety team annual meeting featured some surprise special guests: Stars of the movie “Despicable Me 2” performed their hit song “Happy” for a team that had plenty of reasons to celebrate. Sharon Anderson, RN, BSN, MS, FACHE, senior vice president, Quality, Patient Safety and Population Health Management, thanked the team for partnering to ensure the safety of all of our patients, and challenged them to build on their success in the coming fiscal year.
