Message from the chief operating officer

Christiana Care places the utmost priority on the safety and well-being of our patients, employees and all visitors to our campus.

We are working closely with the Delaware State Police in their investigation of alleged instances of an individual inappropriately touching three female patients at Christiana Hospital.

In addition, we are conducting our own thorough internal investigation into these incidents, including a review of our procedures. We have heightened our security and surveillance and reminded all staff to follow safety-first guidelines, including the proper display of employee identification badges at all times.
