Rehab Services and PT Plus collaborate in Middletown

Christiana Care Rehabilitation Services is expanding outpatient services to southern New Castle County in a partnership with Physical Therapy PLUS to make access to care more convenient for patients.

Located in the Middletown CareCenter at 124 Sleepy Hollow Drive, this new, comprehensive program provides physical, occupational and speech therapy to patients recovering from stroke, brain injury, spinal cord injury, orthopaedic surgery and chronic illness. Physical Therapy PLUS provides services to patients with orthopaedic and sports-medicine injuries at the same location.

“Expanding to Middletown means our neighbors in Southern New Castle County do not need to leave their community to receive high-quality, comprehensive care,” says Sharon Kurfuerst, vice president of Rehabilitation and Orthopaedic Services at Christiana Care.
