Christiana Care wins National Library of Medicine grant to develop sepsis alert system

Sepsis, a life-threatening organ dysfunction, causes nearly half of all U.S. hospital deaths, accruing $20 billion in treatment costs each year. Now, a team from the Value Institute at Christiana Care Health System is determined to change that landscape.
