Michael Antunes appointed director of Neonatology
Michael Antunes, M.D., a staff neonatologist at Christiana Care since 1997, has been appointed director of Neonatology, succeeding John Stefano, M.D.
Dr. Antunes has served as associate director of Neonatology since 2013. Previously he served as chair in the Department of Pediatrics of Bayhealth Medical Center – Kent General Hospital.
He received his medical degree from UMDNJ-New Jersey Medical School. His residency training took place at St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children in Philadelphia, and his fellowship training in neonatology was at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.
He is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. He has been principal or co-principal investigator of several research grants and has published numerous articles in peer-reviewed publications. 
Michael Puchtler appointed vice president of Patient Experience
Michael Puchtler has been appointed vice president Puchtler has more than 16 years of client service

He joined Christiana Care in 2017, coming from an executive post at Vynamic, where he built and led the hospital and health system practice and co-founded the company’s Healthcare Roundtable. Prior to that he was a senior manager at Accenture for more than eight years.

tools and work-system enhancements to enable
breakthroughs in behavior change, and overseeing
regulatory requirements including experience surveys
and patient grievances. He leads Visitor & Volunteer

 Lisa Halbert appointed nurse manager of NCCU and TNU
Lisa Halbert, BSN, RN, CCRN, has been appointed nurse manager of the Neuro Critical Care Unit and Transitional Neuro Unit at Christiana Hospital.
Halbert joined Christiana Care in 2014 and has been the assistant nurse manager for the NCCU and TNU since 2017.
She has served as interim nurse manager of NCCU since October 2017.
Halbert has engaged staff in achieving optimal patient outcomes and exceptional experiences, including in her role developing and opening the Epilepsy Monitoring Unit.
She received her nursing degree from Cecil College in 2012, and will complete her MSN in executive leadership in December 2018. 
