Marci Drees, M.D. was promoted to Associate Professor of Medicine at Sidney Kimmel Medical College.
Ismanie Guillaume, M.D., was selected to participate in the American Society of Hemotology 2018 ASH Minority Resident Hematology Award Program (MRHAP) for her project titled “Identifying Disparities in Primary and Secondary Stroke Prevention Between Pediatric and Adult Sickle Cell Populations.” She will attend the ASH Annual Meeting in December.
Caitlin Halbert, D.O., MS, has been elected to the Board of Directors for the Foundation for Surgical Fellowship.
Members of the Christiana Care HIV Team under Program Director Arlene Bincsik, MS, RN, CCRC, ACRN were recognized as Angel Awardees and honored at “An Evening in Red,” an event hosted by Beautiful Gate Outreach Center to honor those in our community who have demonstrated commitment and partnership in the fight against HIV/AIDS. Also honored were Christiana Care Trustee Enid Wallace- Simms, Public Affairs manager at Delmarva Power; the Delaware HIV Consortium; and Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., Wilmington Alumnae Chapter.
